BricsCAD releases the official guidebooks for BricsCAD V19. Catch the exclusive interview with the creator: Ralph Grabowski.
BricsCAD Shape got a major release. The number 1, free, 3D modeling software got some amazing new improvements. Including materials and QuickDraw.
2D 3D BIM launched. The free online tutorials that help you move from 2D drafting to full 3D modeling with practical examples.
Point Clouds, series by Filip Rooms Launched. Learn; What are point clouds, why we need them, how we make them and how to use them in BricsCAD.
The office was taken over by a film crew. As we filmed The Man Who Brought in BricsCAD. Fun fact: almost all the extras are Bricsys employees!
March
BricsCAD V19.2 launched Just when you thought V19 couldn't get any better, we launched BricsCAD V19.2. It came chock full of new features and improvements, all based on your requests and suggestions.ABC Australasia BricsCAD Conference 2019 in Brisbane, Australia. We headed down under to speak to some of the most inspiring and enthusiastic CAD operators on the other side of the planet.

BricsCAD V19 for Mac released. The long wait was over for Mac users with the release of BricsCAD V19 for Mac.
May
Ted Rossdale, the man who brought in BricsCAD. Have you met Ted?buildingSMART International Standards Summit, Dusseldorf. We headed over to Dusseldorf to talk about all things, Building standards, BIM, open standards, and common data.
Hong Kong's Construction Innovation and Technology Fund approves Bricsys products.
BIM Student Event 2019. Bricsys embraced future designers and engineering with its, completely free one-day student event, here at Bricsys HQ in Gent.

Bricsys went to HxGN Live 2019. In 2018 Bricsys made the surprise announcement that Hexagon acquired Bricsys. In 2019, Bricsys was pleased to join in with the rest of the Hexagon family at HxGN Live in Las Vegas.BricsCAD V19 for Linux released. Finally, users on all platforms can work together with one, dwg, CAD software.

INTERGEO 2019, our German partners, took the reigns at the Intergeo trade fair in Stuttgart.

Bricsys 2019 Conference. Probably the most important event of the year for Bricsys. The time of year when we meet our teams and 3rd party developers from around the world, exchange tips, and give an exclusive sneak preview of future technologies. This year we packed our bags and headed to the picturesque city of Stockholm in Sweden. If you didn't get the chance to make it, you can watch the keynotes on our YouTube Channel.
"Scan-to-BIM" Initiative -- HOK. Leica Geosystems and Bricsys were proud to announce our multi-year initiative to advance Scan-to-BIM technology.

2020
What will 2020 hold for Bricsys? Without giving too much away, we're working on some cool AI technologies that will streamline your CAD modeling. We've also got a whole host of events planned including; DigitalBau, Cologne, Germany with our partners Mervisoft, Japan Square Festival, Gent, Belgium, Swissbau Basel, Basel, Switzerland, BIM WORLD 2020, Paris, France, plus many, many more! See you all in the next decade.
Enscape for BricsCAD will be discontinued and taken down from the Bricsys App Store on 22/10/2023. All active subscriptions purchased before this date will keep receiving support until the subscription expires.
