Bricsys® welcomes Omar Awny as Senior Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand

The Bricsys® team welcomes Omar Awny as our new Senior Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand. Mr. Awny brings more than three decades of experience in the engineering design, technical software, and enterprise systems space. He built strong relationships with customers, partners, and key players across the industry.
Prior to joining Bricsys, Mr. Awny has worked in large companies like AEC Systems (now A2K Technologies), Autodesk® and Newforma Inc., and achieved excellent results by providing holistic, integrated solutions to architecture, engineering, and construction organizations. His experience in BIM, CAD, and cloud technology will greatly benefit the BricsCAD® product family.
Mr. Awny spoke about capitalizing on BricsCAD's market strength in his new role:
I am excited to join the growing Bricsys team. It is a great opportunity to help customers grow their business by leveraging the Bricsys solutions. The industry has been calling for a robust design solution from a vendor who understands what their customers need and how they work – whether from technology, licensing or pricing models. Essentially, they want a technology partner who can help their business, not a demanding sales organization.I will work on building strategic relationships between product users, channel partners, software developers and industry bodies. Moreover, I will focus on promoting the benefits of Bricsys solutions and its eco-system, as well as ensure our customers experience an exceptional level of service.
