Bricsys^® welcomes Alex H. Von Svoboda as Director of Reseller Channels for North America

Mr. Von Svoboda has worked with large Fortune 500 software companies, as well as start-ups, with a focus on launching industry-changing products. He prides himself as a trusted advisor with his reseller channel partners, building strong relationships to help them grow their businesses, and being a value-added resource to their customers.

Mr. Von Svoboda started his career as a Civil Engineer, but soon discovered the power of CAD and joined Softdesk Inc. in New Hampshire, a developer of AEC applications on AutoCAD^®. He was appointed General Manager at Softdesk Canada in Toronto, and later the General Manager at Softdesk Europe in Waterloo, Belgium.

After the acquisition of Softdesk by Autodesk^®, Alex managed sales teams and reseller channels for the next 17 years. During that time, he achieved five Autodesk Diamond Club awards as a top sales performer. Over the last decade, Alex has diversified his expertise to include ESRI GIS/Asset Management and Construction Project Management applications while working for Procore Technologies, Inc.

Alex spoke about joining Bricsys, saying:
