Bricsys COVID-19 Business Update

As a global provider of computer-aided design (CAD) tools, all of us at Bricsys understand our duty to our customers and partners. We’re providing this update to help you understand how Bricsys is working to prevent disruptions to our business so that we can help prevent disruptions to your business.

Our priority is the health, safety and well-being of our employees, our customers and their collective families. For our employees and their families, we are providing guidance on working from home. We are asking them to stop all business-related travel and to comply fully with all local or national guidelines. And most importantly, we’re telling them that it’s okay to choose family over work when necessary. We trust every one of them to do the right things for Bricsys, and for their people.

And kudos to the team for excelling in difficult times: last week, we released BricsCAD V20.2 for all operating systems. The development team built, tested, packaged and deployed the release, all while working remotely. This points to the dedication and resilience of the team, and the robustness of our infrastructure. It’s just another indication of our dedication to your success, and our desire to build the best products for you.

For our customers, we’re here to make sure that you and your teams always have access to your Bricsys product licenses and subscriptions. For network license customers, if your employees have access to your corporate network, they have two options:

⦁ If your network licenses users have continuous access to your network, they can continue to access your corporate license server, or

⦁ If your network license users have intermittent access to your network, they can check out a network license for off-line use. For the particulars on this functionality, your CAD Manager should see our Knowledge Base article on roaming.
