2022 at Bricsys®
What a year that was! We turned 20, found some great new partners, had some big releases, and to be honest? We had a great time doing it all. Take a peak and see what we've been up to during 2022.
January
We had a quiet and steady start to the year 2022 at Bricsys®. We spent January prepping for the upcoming year's events, launches, releases, partnerships, and milestones. We knew we had a busy year ahead, so got to work right away after enjoying the holidays!
February
In February, our colleagues in the U.K took part in Futurebuild, a wonderful opportunity to learn about sustainable innovation in the construction industry and showcase how Bricsys®’ products are helping the construction industry build a more sustainable future.

March
We've come a long, long way together!
Way back in the days of dial-up, flip-phones and sidekicks Erik de Keyser founded Bricsys®, developing BricsCAD® in the hopes of revolutionizing CAD software – and to be honest, we think he nailed it. Since then, we've released over 20 versions of BricsCAD®, created a CDE (Common Data Environment), and grown our team to over 300 people from all over the globe.
Now Bricsys® is 20! So, of course we had to celebrate with a birthday party with all the bells and whistles...and balloons!
April
In April, the Bricsys® team in the U.K headed to Sheffield to take part in DEVELOP3D LIVE, a one-day event that highlights revolutionary product development in software and hardware technologies for design and manufacturing industries.
May
In May, we were thrilled to announce our partnership with GF Piping Systems France – the leading flow solutions provider that enables the safe and sustainable transport of fluids. They chose BricsCAD® Mechanical to support their customers in the product and assembly design processes, and we were heartened to hear that after less than three months in, their engineering team are reaping the benefits of BricsCAD® Mechanical and seeing their productivity improve.
June
Great news for Bricsys®, our partner ACA Pacific and Singaporean companies in June! Our local partner ACA Pacific was chosen as a vendor for the Productivity Solutions Grant by Singapore's government. This means that Singaporean companies can access BricsCAD® Ultimate package by the 'SMEs Go Digital Programme’ - helping them digitally transform their business processes and improve their productivity.
July
In July, we announced that we teamed up with VREX, a virtual reality collaboration platform to speed up VR workflows. At Bricsys®, we're all about collaboration – two heads are better than one and all that, and this partnership allows users to create detailed models in BricsCAD® BIM, export to VREX and collaborate with their teams in a shared virtual space. This parntership got us really excited about how we can all build better together in the future.
August
As Bricsys® continues to grow, innovate and scale at breakneck speed, August saw us bring in a new CRO position to bring focus and attention to our sales and marketing efforts. Our own Pat Williams was appointed as CRO, and he's a man with a mission – to improve productivity, make sure our users have a first-class customer service experience, and to achieve operational excellence all in a sustainable, strategic fashion. Sounds good to us, Pat!
September
September saw TES-EUROPE choose BricsCAD® to power its logistics projects in France, specifically the transportation of wind turbines. Turbines have become increasingly taller to meet demand for sustainable energy, and this complicates the transportation of turbines an awful lot more than you may think! TES-EUROPE used BricsCAD® to plan the transport routes to installation sites safely, securely and perfectly intact. We're always blown away – pun intended - by the vast array of industries and applications BricsCAD® enables. 
October
Spooky season was all go for us at Bricsys® this year. We had 2 summits in October, the Bricsys® Partner Summit and the Bricsys® Digital Summit. At our Partner Summit, we let our Bricsys® partners take a sneak peak of BricsCAD® V23, and gave some workshops, demos and networking opportunities. We love seeing our partners in the flesh, and learning about how we can help them more.
Meanwhile online, we held the Bricsys® Digital Summit to show you everything Bricsys® 24/7 and BricsCAD® V23 has to offer. The keynote sessions featured some of the Bricsys® team covering V23's capabilities, while the digital breakout sessions dove further into the intricacies of how to make the most out of V23's new features.
We also had a load of fun putting the summit together – check out some behind-the-scenes action!
November
In November, we launched the new and improved BricsCAD® V23. We built BricsCAD® V23 to challenge the status quo through CAD-based innovation, and we were so excited to share V23 with you and show you all it can do!
December
This December, we're working away at bringing you the best Bricsys® has to offer for 2023, all while getting into the holiday spirit.
We had a Bricsys® HQ Christmas tree competition, hosted our Christmas party and our colleagues at our Ghent office headed out to the Christmas markets to really get into the festive season.
