BricsCAD Communicator™ is a separate import/export module for BricsCAD.

Platform support: Communicator is available for Windows 32 & 64 bit. The bit architecture of Communicator and BricsCAD should correspond.

Versioning: Communicator V16 will work with BricsCAD V16 Pro and Platinum. Previous BricsCAD versions (V15 or older) are not compatible. BricsCAD Communicator V16 installs and runs independently from previous V15 versions.

• Import of product (assembly) structure is now supported for a number of CAD formats (ACIS, CATIA, IGES, Inventor, NX, Parasolid, Pro/E/Creo, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, STEP, VDA-FS)
• Imported geometry can now be optionally repaired, simplified and stitched into watertight 3D solids and joint surfaces.
• Optional mapping of Y axis to Z axis was added for import of SolidWorks models.
