- User info popups are added in many places like document author, mail sender, task assignee, ...
- Folderaccess has a new graphical and more compact design. The title bar always remains visible,
the rights in the title bar are now icons with tooltips and the rights icons toggle between no access,
access to own, access to all where possible.
- The role property 'can see history' is now called 'users visible'. It means the users from this
role can see the other users in the project. Without this, the user will not have the option to send
notifications, see the history, see who else has access to the folder, or any other screen that shows
lists of users. Owners of documents, tasks, ... will still be visible.
- You can send notifications about already existing items in Vondle. Also for selection sets.
- When adding a new project without timezone, but you use a template that has a timezone, the
new project will inherit the timezone from the template.
- It is now possible to extend the range for recurring events.
- You can now specify a port for fetching mail in mail-in. Specify the port by entering the
mailserver as 'servername:port'.
- A new icon in the addressbook indicates if a contact is also a user in this project.
- Notify messages now also contain the description of new documents.
- The root of the folder structure in administration now has the name of the project.
Improvements
- The speed of the dashboard has been improved.
- The rich text editor (used for mail, forum, event description, ...) is replaced. The problem with
always increasing whitespace between paragraphs is fixed for new posts.
- When copying a document, the list of users you can copy was wrong. It showed the list of users
with access to the originating folder instead of those of the target folder.
- Only the first document download was logged when downloading a number of files as a single zip.
- The addressbook threw an error if the user only had view-own rights.
- Tasks of a canceled workflow are no longer shown on the dashboard. When restarting the workflow
the actors are notified.
- The add user wizard now works when there are roles with a quote in the name.
- The checkboxes in the edit role dialog were always checked by default.
- Folders on the root level could not be restored from the recycle bin.
- Attachments of events could not be downloaded without edit rights.
- The unlock button for administrators has moved to the details of a document to have the same
interface for all users.
- The link on a note to go the calendar event that the note is attached to was wrong.

New features
The web interface has been renewed. It now looks more like a desktop application. We now have
drag and drop (users / roles), tree controls (admin folder structure), loading details inline
without a reload (opening a document, contact, ...), ... These features depend heavily on
JavaScript. We have tested this on all major browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari,
Chrome). If you encounter problems please check if there are upgrades available for your browser.
A new movie will be posted soon to give an overview of the new interface.
- The dashboard has been restyled.
- Opening details of documents, contacts, organizations, workflows, mails and urls
is executed without reloading the page. You can now also have multiple details open at the
same time.
- The admin Folder Structure screen now uses a tree control instead of a plain list.
- Users, Roles and Maillists now use drag and drop to select members.
- Admin Log Reports allows an administrator to create custom reports using a selection
of the logged information (e.g. give me all document revisions by user John Doe over the
last 3 months).
- Workflow diagrams have been restyled.
- Documents revisions with a different name are allowed when using the add
revision button in the document details. The extension of the file needs to match the
original document. The original name is always kept.
- The notify button on a binder displays only if you have add rights.
- The repository structure has been redesigned. A repository now has a overview dashboard.
- There is a new wizard to add users. It is no longer required to add people to an addressbook first.
- Added language Lithuanian.
Improvements
- CSV download is fixed for users and maillists.
- SanityException in some cases when unlocking and adding revision is fixed.
- The correct icon now displays after 'download and lock' or 'upload and unlock'.
- Download and lock now downloads again on all browsers.

- A new folder type 'forum' is available in Vondle. A Vondle project administrator can now set up one or more discussion forums in a Vondle project.
- A new folder type 'binder' has been added to Vondle. A binder groups all type of Vondle objects (documents, mails, calendar items, workflows, URL's, ...) from different folders in one binder folder, with specific access rights. A binder folder and the related access rights can be defined by the project administrator.
Improvements
- The 'edit multiple' function for documents has been reworked. In a document folder, all group actions ('download selected as zip', 'edit selected', 'move selected' and 'delete selected') are centralized in the bottom left corner. Using 'edit selected', it's now much easier to add multiple revisions.
- Downloading files from Vondle using Internet Explorer no longer needs a pop-up window.

- When creating annotations or notes in Vondle, the author can decide to make the annotation/note public or to make it accessible for only a limited number of users. Annotations and notes now both have a subject and a message field and are easily accessible from the details page.
- From now on, notifications are stored on Vondle. If a notification has been sent, the link to this notification will be displayed on the details page of the Vondle object (document, event, ...).
- A new Vondle off-line tool is available. This VondleTray facilitates the process of updating/editing documents from Vondle locally, while keeping the information at all times synchronized with the live Vondle server. The VondleTray is downloadable via 'my profile'. Right now, the VondleTray is only available on Windows (the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 needs to be installed). - When mails are created, empty subjects are replaced by "---" so they can be selected later on.

The name of Vista has been changed to Vondle. Accordingly, we recommend to change all Vista links to Vondle. Vondle can be accessed using the link http://vondle.bricscad.com .

- Auto Workflow Folder: a project administrator can assign a workflow to a specific folder. When a document or mail is added in this specific folder, the workflow gets automatically assigned to this document or mail.
- In the Vondle Viewer, a new feature 'Image Settings' was added. It allows to change the display properties of the image, e.g. by adapting brightness or turning to grayscale.
- The Traditional Chinese version of Vondle has been released.
Improvements
- The dashboard has been restyled and the project size has been moved to administration, as more dashboard features will be added in the coming months.
- Workflows can now be copied from one project to another.

- Vista now has a complete SOAP interface, making it possible to link Vista to external applications.
The new stand-alone upload application VistaUpload uses this SOAP interface. Using this tool, a Vista user can upload several files at once to Vista, across different projects and folders.
You can download the VistaUpload application from the Vista website.
The Readme file (contained in the downloaded ZIP file) explains how to use the VistaUpload application.

- Documents with names containing non-western characters (Polish, Hebrew, ...) are now viewable in Vista.

- By default, annotations are made in red. Per role, you can now select a different color (via administration > security > roles). As such, the same color will be used by users belonging to the same role.
- It's possible to create a guest role: members of this role are not able to change their personal details.

- Per project, a timezone can be defined. This timezone is used everywhere times are shown or used. Timezone is set under administration > project settings > project details.
- Language 'English UK' was added. It allows to work in English, but using dateconvention dd/mm/yy. 'English US' uses dateconvention mm/dd/yy.

- Number of documents and mails is limited to 20 per screen. With next and previous buttons, you can scroll to other pages.
