Features
Project Address book - VCard
As a user you can make explicit addressbooks for a typical project and add or delete at any time contacts or organizations in your notification actions. You can import address books from other projects in a new project and modify it where needed. You can open contacts as a VCard (electronic business card) or save it as a VCF file (VCard file format).
The Calendar
The Vondle Calendar is a typical project specific calendar. It allows to manage, track and log all events and meetings that are linked to one particular project. The Vondle Calendar has a daily-, a weekly- and a monthly view.
Calendar notification
When you add a meeting or event to the Calendar, or you attach notes to events you can automatically notify the people to whom it concerns. Notifications are a very important element in Vondle and help the user to automate as much as possible its communication management.
Calendar Details
At any given moment you can view all the details of an event. You can attach files to an event and the event can contain several notes. You can also attach private notes.
The Documents
Documents can be uploaded and downloaded from the server. Each document can be locked to avoid that two users work on the same time on the document. Documents can be viewed and annotated. The Vondle Viewer runs in your browser and can print the viewed documents without downloading them. Vondle supports a very extended number of document formats.
Document details
You can immediately view the details of a document. The details view has a preview of the document, allowing you to have a visual quick check before opening a document. In the details you can add remarks/notes to be read by other members.
Document revisions
Users can add revisions to documents and notify others of such revisions. You can instantly view the revision list of each document. The revision list has a brief description of the modifications and mentions the author and time of the modification.
Workflows
Each user can easily define workflow-processes in a graphical way, e.g. to approve meeting minutes, to process change requests, ... Nested processes can be organized as well. Workflows can be attached to documents, mails, calendar items, .. Every activity in the workflow-process generates a task for one of the users in Vondle, as defined in the workflow definition. This task is displayed on this user's dashboard. At each moment, a Vondle user can display the workflow in the Vondle Editor to check the status of it.
